    Targeted Public Distribution System

    The implementation of the National Food Security Act, 2013 has been started in the state from February 1, 2014. In order to select the eligible beneficiaries for Antyodaya Anna Yojana & Priority House hold (PHH) under the said Act, the Central Government has given a target of 7,00,16,684 beneficiaries for the state. Beneficiaries of Antyodaya Anna Yojana are allotted 35 kg of food-grains per month while ration of 5 kg of food-grains per person per month is distributed to the beneficiaries of Priority House hold (PHH).

    Beneficiary Selection Criteria of Priority Housed Hold (PHH)


    To select the beneficiaries within the limit of target set by the Central Government, annual income limit of Rs.44,000/- for the rural & Rs.59,000/- has been fixed for urban areas for selecting Priority House hold (PHH) beneficiaries Vide Government Resolution dated 17.12.2013.

    Beneficiary Selection Criteria of Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY)


    The central government has given Target of 25,05,300 beneficiary families of Antyodaya Anna Yojana for the state. As per the guidelines given by Central Government, the state govt has fixed criteria to select the beneficiaries for Antyodaya food scheme. Vide Government resolution dated 17.07.2013 & Govt. corrigendum dated 14.11.2013.

    Target of NFSA Beneficiary


    The Target for Antodaya Anna Yojana & Priority House hold (PHH) beneficiaries under NFSA has been revised vide Government Resolution dated 04.09.2023.
