NEW GODOWN CONSTRUCTION

National Food Security Act is being implemented in state from 1st February 2014. As per National Food Security Act it is mandatory to provide food grains to the beneficiaries. To implement this Act, it is necessary to provide food grains within stipulated time. Therefore adequate space for storage food grains and other communities is required. In order to increase the storage capacity under Public Distribution System, godown construction programme had been taken up by state government with financial help of NABARD from the year 2011-12.
