    • To timely procure and distribute food grains from the Indian Food Corporation under the National Food Security Act and state schemes.
    • To purchase and distribute superior quality rice and wheat at prices below the Minimum Support Price.
    • To distribute fortified food grains to enhance the health of the state’s population.
    • To provide subsidized meal thalis to the economically disadvantaged and needy sections of the population.
    • To enhance warehouse capacity and management.
    • To implement effective enforcement of consumer protection laws.
    • To ensure proper implementation of essential commodities laws.
